As you may have already seen, our trailer is live on Strike.Tv and YouTube. By some strange alignment of fates and planets our launch date (March 19th) coincides with the beginning of our final production cycle on season 1. Releasing a series while also prepping one for the same day is a mistake you only make once. Needless to say, we’ve been very busy, but we’re all elated to be a part of the Strike.Tv family. It’s been a long time coming, friends. Stay tuned.

The surreal-adventure-comedy-web-series
will broadcast to citizens around the world!
I’m writer/director Matthew Mangs, reporting from the Ranch at just about 4 AM. I’m listening to the lush sounds of MOUNTAIN MAN. Nearby, Mike Miller (right, with trombone) finishes tinkering with the Prologue episode’s sound effects and score.
After completing Episodes One through Four (Chapter 1: Invasion), we decided to make Episode Zero (the Prologue), a sort of pilot to better establish Jonas’ world and intentions. And it has emerged as an exciting medley of Jonas Hawkinus’ electrifying exploits!
At this early morning moment, Kevin Rosen-Quan assembles the Official MOUNTAIN MAN Website, the Sanctuary for all things MOUNTAIN MAN. Our fun, hard work (free of charge) is coming to a head.
We’re planning to populate the website with all sorts of MOUNTAIN MAN media including Jonas’ original songs, desktop themes, behind-the-scenes footage, Echo’s Jonas Journal video diaries, and a MOUNTAIN MAN Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MM-MMORPG). I’m hoping Kevin can find the time for that one.
MOUNTAIN MAN is on his way…

We were fortunate enough to employ the man responsible for all the special effects in CSI: New York to help us out with our own FX shot that will end up in the opening title sequence. Bet you can wait to see it finished, huh?
