genre-bending, surreal-comedy-adventure.

Every single person involved was absolutely essential in making Mountain Man a reality. We donated our time and skills, paid only in the satisfaction of creating a wholly unique vision of which we are all proud.

What began as an excuse to shoot videos with friends in the woods metamorphosed into an all-consuming passion project, the butterfly that is Mountain Man.

Matthew Mangs

Matthew Mangs is a filmmaker living in Los Angeles, CA, subsisting on cans of beans and coffee. Born and raised in West Hartford, CT, he moved west to attend USC film school, where he met most of the cast and crew of Mountain Man. Matthew misses the New England seasons.

In 2007, Matthew was inspired by Mike Miller’s abundant beard growth and began writing a series about a mountain man.

Matthew’s favorite films include Deliverance, Night of the Hunter, Aguirre Wrath of God, Miyazaki movies, Spielberg movies, and many others.

Matt Enlow

Matt Enlow started working on Mountain Man with Mangs and Miller when it was a much smaller idea. He didn’t know it would take this long.

In addition to Mountain Man, Matt is the Writer/Director of Engaged: the Show. He also works for Strike.Tv, is a member of New Media West and the International Academy of Web Televison and blogs about new media. In short, he <3’s web video.

Kevin Rosen-Quan

Kevin Rosen-Quan was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated with a BA in Film Production from the University of Southern California in 2005. After graduation, he purchased six homes on four acres of land in the Angeles National Forrest, and founded his production company, Pangea Productions. Over the past four years, Pangea Productions has created dozens of commercials, music videos, and shorts, which can be viewed on their breakout site. In 2006 he became an executive producer for Broadcaster Inc. in charge of in house content development and production. Over two years, he developed several animated and live action shows, including over two hundred episodes of the hit entertainment news show, Broadcaster News. When Kevin is not producing, he is working as a production sound engineer and post production sound designer, mixer and composer. In 2008 he completed sound and music on the popular independent horror film, Biodead. Kevin is currently working on completing the first season of Mountain Man, sound and music for a television pilot, co-producing the popular web series Engaged, and producing and directing a feature film for Pangea productions, as well as various commercials, music videos and shorts.

Bobby Lam

Bobby grew up with Matthew Mangs all throughout his time studying film production at USC, and even throughout the years has shared apartments with him.

Mike H. Miller

Mike Miller lives a contemplative existence in an undisclosed location in the Angeles National Forest, whiling away his days making plans for the moment the world accepts his celebrity. He met many of his colleagues at USC. Many others he met in the woods around where he lives. He likes to party, drink beers, and collaborate. He also plays guitar in a band called the Widows, and sometimes he plays trombone when he is melancholy. Mike does sound design, scoring, and acting for Mountain Man.

Gregg Lawrence

Gregg is a native Californian and has worked as an actor and director with various theatre groups throughout the West for more than 35 years in over 120 stage productions, most recently as Chief Bromden in Theatre District’s production of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. He was featured as Brigham Young in the premiere season of the outdoor musical ‘Utah!’

On the silver screen, he has appeared on the soap operas Days of our Lives, General Hospital and Generations, as well as being a semi-regular on Santa Barbara. In the cinematic realm, Gregg has been in several independent films, most recently featured in ‘Guitar Master’ and ‘Shadow of Cthulu’ (both in post-production) as well as working as an associate producer for Worn Path Productions on award-winning films such as ‘Make A Wish, Molly’ and ‘A&P’. He is currently performing as King Phillippe at Medieval Times in Buena Park.

Chrissie Weatherup

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Christine Weatherup is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California, where she majored in Cinema-Television, Theatre & Political Science. While in college, Christine appeared in the MFA Playwrighting Workshop production of Big Night, a solo show she wrote called Dreaming Alone, and was selected to perform in the Senior Showcase. Christine also had the opportunity to study at the British American Drama Academy (BADA) where she was trained by top notch working British Artists.

Christine has appeared extensively in film (Star Kid) and television (General Hospital, Grounded for Life) as well as numerous commercials (including Nikon, Superpages, Starburst and Ford). Her Los Angeles theatre credits include The Rover at the John Raitt Theatre and a staged reading of Hotel Chicago at the Complex Theatre. Most recently, Christine has co-created and stars in the webseries Engaged the Show, which was awarded 2nd place for best pilot by NewTeeVee.com.

Ashley Palmer

Ashley Palmer is an actress living in Los Angeles and working in film, television, commercials, hosting, print and theatre.

Robert DiTillio

Robert DiTillio began his acting career in New York City where he appeared in off-off Broadway plays, most notably two rarely produced works by Joyce Carol Oates. In NY, he also worked on several low-budget independent films, soap operas and rap music videos (where he frequently portrayed the “mean” white guy). In Hollywood, he has made guest appearances on several TV shows including Babylon 5, Sliders, Profiler, General Hospital, and NYPD Blue. He was also a prizewinner on America’s Funniest People for a sketch that he co-wrote.

Robert’s stage work in LA includes playing Sal Carducci in the critically acclaimed hit, Crappie Talk, and performing at The Comedy Store with his improv group Are You Talkin’ Ta Me?

Robert has appeared in a variety of feature films over the years, including playing Demetrius in a punk rock/goth version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by horror novelist S.P. Somtow. Other notable film credits include the Sci-Fi Channel original movie Dragon Fighter with Dean Cain, the mad doctor opus The Straun House with Karen Black, the late-night guilty pleasure Triloquist and the remake Night of the Living Dead 3D (just in case Robert in 2D is not enough). These horror-oriented movies are all available on DVD.

After years of cinematic terror, the Internet has brought comedy back into Robert’s life. In addition to his appearance in Mountain Man, he is performing a lead role on the new web series The Rose Chronicles, which will launch soon. The Internet is the future of entertainment, and the future is now. Thanks for watching.
